Thank you Mishtar India. However, can you explain what you mean by: "a word of caution with US drivers licence"?

Sorry, the last few lines got deleted while posting and i didnt notice it .

A word of caution for US driver license holders....if you are coming here to settle and giving up your H1B visa then your US licence will be valid only for 3 months after leaving USA. the records of visa and License office is linked.

So if you are coming for good then change over to Canadian license as soon as you can....it just takes a visit to the Dept of motor vehicles to change .....but do it fast and dont wait for too long .

If you are only coming for landing and then will go back to continue working in US ...then dont bother to change....your US licese will remain valid as long as you remain a US resident.
