If someone wanted to teach as a part-time teacher in some of the private tutoring and coaching centers like Oxford, how to go about it?
I don't want to become a public school teacher so don't want to do B.Ed or get an OCT.

I have very good skills in maths, science, accounting and so on and can easily teach Canadian curriculum for high school (grade 9 to 12).
But I don't know how to go about it.
What certifications do I need?
Who should I approach?

Did you check their website under careers to get an idea of what is needed?

Here is one - http://www.oxfordlearning.com/careers/

As an example, a high school level math and science teacher is required to have the following qualifications:

-------------------

Teaching Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in the subject area
Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment in Math & Science
Experience with the Ontario curriculum (including Advanced functions, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Data Management and Trigonometry)
Knowledge of Science, Chemistry and Physics an asset
Strong English language skills
Be a dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed
Upbeat and willing to motivate
Highly organized and flexible
Interested candidates must be available a minimum of 2-4 evenings a week (4-8pm) and potentially Saturday mornings (9-12pm).
A commitment to the end of the 2014/2015 school year is also required to provide consistency to our students.
If you possess all of the above qualities and want to join a high-energy group, with a goal to see students succeed, then please send us your cover letter and resume.
Please email resumes and cover letters to:

High school science and math teachers have always been in great demand, even by places like Oxford. My advice would be to approach such centers directly which is easily possible since they are small business owners always looking for teachers on part time / full time basis. My wife did the same till she decided she did want to do BEd. and become a professional teacher.

While they do not pay well as compared to being a qualified teacher, but gives a lot of flexibility.
