One day, farmer Bob was in town picking up supplies for his farm. He
stopped by the hardware store and picked up a bucket and an anvil (a
heavy block of iron on which heated pieces of metal are shaped by
hammering them into objects), then stopped by the livestock dealer to
buy a couple of chickens and a goose.
Now he had a problem: how to carry all of his purchases home.
The dealer said, "Why don`t you put the anvil in the bucket, carry the
bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose
in your other hand?"
"Hey, thanks!" Bob said, and off he went.
While walking he met a fair young lady with rather large beautiful breasts.
She told him she was lost, and asked, "Can you tell me how to get to
1155 Albert Lane?"
Bob said, "Well, as a matter of fact, I`m going to visit my friend
there. Let`s take a short cut and go down this alley. We`ll save half
the time to get there".
The fair young lady said, "How do I know that when we get in to the
alley you won`t hold me up against the wall, pull down my skirt and
ravish me?"
Bob said, "I am carrying a bucket, an anvil, chickens, and a goose.
How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do
that?"
The young lady said, "Set the goose down, put the bucket over the
goose, put the anvil on top of the bucket, and I`ll hold the
chickens."

Oh dear! You are one unhappy woman😊 My apologies if I have contributed to the same. That was never the intention.

Nobody is dominating - unless that is the definition of "suggestions" in your dictionary!

You seem to have also confused posting of jokes as acts of charity.

When one starts getting a swollen head doing TOO many good deeds and charity - they start elevating their own status to a kind of higher being- like I am better than all of you - since I am so good. This is called Ahankar. We see example of such everyday in newspapers - preachers who start thinking they are God.

There is a saying in most all Indian languages - the left hand must not know what the right hand is doing.

It is time to take an inventory - if one feels they are TOO good or TOO pious or TOO charitable etc. - Being good and doing kind deeds is a good thing - but not so, if it gives you a superiority or I am holier than thou feeling. Why the need to dare? You are not the only Kind hearted and generous soul on this forum or in Canada - everybody does their own bit without the need to advertise or publish. Not to belittle the good deeds you are doing - which you surely are.

All the best!

Hmmm...TK now that you point out about latest posts being almost all consisting of new jokes, I can see your point.

To make you happy, I am going to start a new thread for jokes. When the thread becomes too big, I'll abandon that and start another thread and so on. This way it should keep things in check. How does that sound? :-)

Please stop fighting like cats n dogs n comparing countries. If u dare...gv real help to people here. Eg. Give job or car pooling etc.even food or watever u get free in ur company. Post food bank address etc.

i am sorry for being so blunt. :)

I just supported the idea of putting jokes at one place so that with just a click on one thread, one can read all the jokes and I don't see any problem in that. Why you need to stop posting !!!! Pl don't do that .. I am sure lot of CDs enjoy those postings including me.

TK...I used to c ur anti - Canada post every time i go to site for 5-6 yrs. Same comments every time for eg : food bank and labour job or survival job etc. Did we order you like this?? Our jokes n post r positive n rarely same. Once in a while if 2 people post same joke, u jump and tell us to stop though that same joke if 10 times wl mke u smile coz of its humour.

With due respect to seniors n another human being, we ignored n moved forward to another post coz I respect and value the time tken by dedicated people like
Fido, AshwaniG, SS, Gurram and geetakhanna, FH to wrote on this wonderful site. Thnx to all of u for helping people like us by giving valuable input. Hats off to all of u n also to awesome site owner GG.

You should change your handle from happy woman to wonderful woman😊 - you are a nice person.

Your jokes are really very good. Please keep posting them. They do bring a smile to the face and I love logging everyday to read them.

If vagg is posting jokes to mke u smile and laugh then, appreciate his efforts to make u laugh coz he is giving u time which he could have utilised for his loved ones. just a thought frm my side.

As for me, I stopped posting and now I am giving sme time to school by volunteering and serving children. I took it in a positive way that, I shouldnt get addicted to net like this and my duties and responsibilities are towards homefront and children. charity should always begin at home. I take this opportunity to once again apologise if I have hurt anybody's feeling.

My one and only belief is do good and get good with interest and u have to make sacrifices to achieve gr8 things in life. :) hv a fabulous evening.

It is not easy to allocate time for different things we love to do. The time and resources are limited.
There nothing that gives a better feeling than helping those who are in real need.
As you know one needs to be experienced and can't be explained.
You are lucky that you are able to spend more time in volunteering.
Controlling addiction to net ( which is not easy now a days) really helps one to do other things in life.
