I DID NOT SEE IT AS ANTI HINDU !!!!
I have heard this from other people too...if thats what one learns frm the movie, he/she has lost the message that Raju was trying to convey !!!!
I am sad people are interpreting it like this...the whole purpose is defeated !

Solely based on te preview, it looks like a satire on standard social customs prevelant in current India.
While we may have participated and/or observed these first hands to understand the humor, not sure how much your kids will enjoy. That said there might be some slap stick scenes where they will enjoy the action, not the reason. It is hard to gauge kid's likes. For us movies like main noon naa and krrish was junk, my kids loved them so much - they revere them as classic...
Regardless, it is family film and 'seems' like a clean film - should do no harm. Though I feel like questioning the action of 'stealing' as a means to generate humor and ridicule the targeted custom.
Enjoy. We are going to watch today as Tuesdays is discounted fare at cineplex.

OK here it goes...
There is nothing new in the movie which you don't already know unless you been out of touch with the world in the last 7-10 years. To me it looked like an extended episode of Satyamev Jayate.. Unnecessary melodrama and convenient plot build up to arrive at the climax scene.
My wife liked it, 9 year old enjoyed parts of it and 14 year old did not understand the hype.
It is tailor made for our resident San Hugo ji.
I would rate it as Hirani's weakest film yet. Lots of hamming by AK.
Bottom line - not impressed, but if you have no other plans, should watch it for entertainment only.
Stick to your TV series and wait for free DVD in the library next year.
