OK here it goes...
There is nothing new in the movie which you don't already know unless you been out of touch with the world in the last 7-10 years. To me it looked like an extended episode of Satyamev Jayate.. Unnecessary melodrama and convenient plot build up to arrive at the climax scene.
My wife liked it, 9 year old enjoyed parts of it and 14 year old did not understand the hype.
It is tailor made for our resident San Hugo ji.
I would rate it as Hirani's weakest film yet. Lots of hamming by AK.
Bottom line - not impressed, but if you have no other plans, should watch it for entertainment only.
Stick to your TV series and wait for free DVD in the library next year.

Yet to see it. I am hoping that it will give me moksha like feeling..
I saw it yesterday. I found it enjoyable and quite funny. Yes it is corny especially for 30 mins towards the end. But still probably one of the better hindi movies of the year.
Regarding it being anti-Hindu .. I think that is baseless. It mocks some of our traditions but not our religion (a bit like OMG).
Anyway for me its still worth a watch. I hated Bang Bang (shitty copy of shitty movie Knight and Day) .. so this was refreshing.
My 2 cents. If you have watched OMG then this movie is pale in comparison to OMG. It is an OK movie . there are no other good hindi movies are out right now hence I guess this movie will do well but over all I rate this as Amir's weakest movie.
Nothing new to offer and if you have not watched OMG the you will like this movie.
Dhoom 3 was clearly the worst Aamir movie by miles. I even preferred Mangal Pandey to it.
I don't think it is anti-Hindu...I don't even see it as anti-religion.
This movie is easily one of the best Aamir Khan movies. Little bit of everything. Fun throughout. 150 minutes whizzed by. Watched twice and enjoyed it!
And, nahin main pk nahin hoon.. :-) :-)

Guess is that when every movie is released the fringe outfits want 'donation' for their groups, which amount may vary according to their nuisance value. When the film producer fights this extortion, these elements disturb the screening and success of the movie in various ways.
