Conflict of interest here with Modi , Sushma's daughter & Sushma ..the optics are NOT good.
Sushma Swaraj’s daughter part of Lalit Modi’s legal team in passport case.
On April 18, 2012, the HC issued a notice on Lalit Modi’s plea. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, now the Attorney General of India, had appeared for him.

Dude, we the supporters of AAP have repeatedly said that the culprits (Tomar with allegedly fake degrees, SB, etc.) should be punished IF found guilty.
If anyone from AAP is found to be in conflict of interests, they should go. As simple as that. This is my personal opinion. They should be held to the same moral/high grounds as they expect from other parties.
Revisit / Read our posts again, don't literally jump to the 'whataboutism'.
Enforcement Directorate has issued a blue corner notice of Lalit Modi – it means that he is wanted by ED and avoiding FEMA investigation of over 400 crore since 2010. He is involved in economic crime so ED is after him. But this scam may not be considerable one because his lawyer is daughter of Foreign Minister.

Lalit Modi's passport was confiscated, and he was declared 'Fugitive' due to the various corruption cases filed on him by the Govt. of India when UPA was in power. By his God's grace, when BJP came into power the Passport was re-instated. Here's the quote from the actual article:

He had run away from the process of Indian law and as a result was stripped off his Indian passport. You know what Canada and US do to the politicians found to be in conflict of interest? It's that serious.
Everyone knows that NaMo, Amit Shah, and Arun Jaitley have never been quite fond of Swaraj and this is one heck of a golden opportunity for them to get rid of her. Shooting two targets with one bullet - Lalit Modi (Trio's loving friend) will get a respite, and the bone of contention in the form of Swaraj will pave the way for their own favorite. I am sure Sushma ji must be heeding the visit to her Guru Advani these days. Both are helpless.
.I tend to laugh when these seasoned Politicians do something that apparently stupid, and with one stroke jeopardize their entire political career - past, present, and future.
Another proof, BJP is Congi in a saffron outfit - same to same hey jee.

Whether it is AAP, BJP or Congress, all of them are our domestic help, at least that is what they claim when they seek our votes, to run the household that is India. If any of them is found thieving, they must be shown the door.
We may now assume that Sushma's PM ambitions during her term as Leader of Opposition is all but over. Is not LOP a cabinet rank post. Is it not her duty to protect the interests of the nation? If someone is found evading the Enforcement Directorate she should have held him by the scruff of his neck and brought him to ED Office. At least when she became MEA. Instead she helped lalit Modi just because her daughter was his lawyer.
During the Goa BJP meet prior to the 2014 elections, Sushma was reluctant according to news reports, to declare NaMo as PM candidate. Her mentor LKA abstained from the conference. News channels said Sushma hurriedly left the conference, flew to Delhi and from there straight to LKA residence. In all this, it is said only Jaitley is the only one who has NOT come out openly in support. He was also in the BCCI committee that evicted Lalit Modi when he kept the profits to himself. Even though Jaitley lost in his Amritsar constituency, he is given the most important portfolio of Finance with a bonus of I&B.
The I&B has come in as handy for fixing the MEA. Like in gangland warfare, let the corrupt politicians hit one another. People of the country will be benefited.

From Karan Thapar news analysis in Headlines Today, we understand that LaMo, might have gone to Portugal to attend a family wedding and not for cancer treatment for his wife. Only cities like Mumbai, Chennai, LaMo's own London or NY are heard of for medical treatment for cancer. The panelist said that SS might have been "fooled", "taken for a ride" etc. In that case KT asks, can she keep her minister post.
