Yaqub Memon was executed today morning at 5 am IST for the 1993 blasts .
He was the brother of Tiger Memon who was an aide of Dawood and had played a hand in 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts ...
What I found ironical when I read for the first time about him last week - He was a very bright Chartered Accountant , and diversified quickly into exports and buildings ..... and then after all a disgraceful end ...
Assuming he participated in the bomb blasts , the q that comes foremost to one's mind is :
'All the education and intellect that a main gains in life is waste once he sets on the path of destruction and in his case religious destruction as well as Chiheb Esseghaier the Via Rail terror suspect who despite being a PhD refuses to comply with Canadian law ..... all the education gets over written by what's deep inside a person '

Dude, formal training and education doesn't have anything to do with intellect. Our forefathers were not that educated, but were very apt in making quick and valid decisions and at times when a higher intellect was required.
I have already discounted a formal education as part of one's intellect and how good human being they are. Education is mostly 'rattafication', so it doesn't count beyond gaining a deserving employment. Its role ends there itself.

I thought that a brilliant Chartered Accountant or a PhD would have learnt more about life and be at a somewhat elevated level as compared to somebody who went to a madrassa ...
Pity that education is a not an all encompassing elevator .
