You don't even have to be catholic to go to. catholic school.
Adam,
Have they changed the rules recently? or are you saying that one of the parents pose as a fake catholic by taking the holy sacrement given at Catholic churches to enable their ward to attend Catholic schools?
In some areas outside the GTA, they did allow non catholic to attend Catholic shcool due to poor intake. BUt GTA is alwats fully crowded that they take only catholics for catholic schools.

Thans for the information. Actually my Husbands office will be in Queens Quay near Rogers Center. So please Suggest best location to live which is convenient to commute , has good school and has Indians around with Indian stores.
Looks like your husband is in IT and already has a job before coming here, so you are one of the lucky few.
Expect temps. Of 0 C during nights and around 15 C during day, during September and October in Toronto. So dress accordingly. So a range of 0-15 C with beautifual Fall colours
January and Feruary will be brutal with snow and close to - 20 C on some days.
Adam is Back
Ok. Ya my Husband is in IT and he has ot a job.
Payal,
Try Davisville area or till Finch. (Many whites / european and chinese in this area). Shortest to your husband's office.
Your husband will have a direct train to his office.
If you live in Islington, you will see a lot of Indian's but most of them will be in labour jobs and the schools will reflect this standards. Also a lot of Middle eastern people.
Pucca mississauga (no trains there) reflect rich IT people and hard working labour people - living side by side.
Since it is public schools, I recommend living away from Desi's and may be in Davisville. SInce your hubby has a job, his collegues at office will help you settle down.
