Delegations at the Peel District School Board's Tuesday, Jan. 10 meeting descended into a spectacle that encapsulated the tension surging through the room.

"I was extremely disappointed at how people conducted themselves this evening," said chair Janet McDougald, characterizing the events as a "new low for decorum and respect."

Given the police presence and increased security at the HJA Brown Education Centre, it was clear staff were anticipating blowback from a report on the agenda regarding religious accommodation for Muslim students.

The tea leaves weren't difficult to read, as censoring student-written sermons for Friday prayer has been a sore spot among offended Muslims and those who take issue with religion in public school.

Since 1980s you cannot say Merry Christmas and couldn't put a Christmas tree in the public offices.

The Lord's Prayer cannot be recited in Schools.

Then how do you recite a prayer which ends with death to Kafirs be allowed in schools?.

Many persons from the Majority community were there and they shouted F$&@ Ix$m. This was seen by my kids and videos are there on FB.

Next election our Drama Teacher has to be unseated and a Pro Canada PM should be brought into office.

There is a poster in CD who says that you, Shoba De and Adam Thorat are the same and one person only. But I disagree. Shobade and Adam Thorat are the same and one person.

But I know that you are a separate individual and that you have no connection with Shoba de and Adam Thorat. Your views are unique in nature which canot be replicated.
