hai all,

this is to bring to the kind notice of all canadian desi\"s ,why can't we all help each other in job affairs ,as we all know here in canada we are in different jobs ,why can't we refer our own desis when there is a job where we can give reference to those who need it
and help each other ,it is a known fact that we are not in the job which matches our qualifications
the question is how this can be done and how it will work out

please put your views,so that we work out a plan and implement it and see how it works out
so let us help each other ,because only desi\"s can help desi\"s and let us become a strong force

Mahendra,

We have "Jobs Available" section in Charcha. If you or anycome come across a job, you are free to post it there.

We also have a separate section called "Jobs" and you can see jobs posted by companies. You can also post jobs you know there.

What else you want to do?

Mahendra,
And more importantly, suggest HOW it can be done. We all want to do a lot of things for helping desis, what matters more is how it is to be done and is it possible!

It sounds good but very difficult.

If I know about a Job a sure one and not Just something I saw somewhere in newspaper, and which will at least get the person a shot at Interview, I might not pass it along here and will try to find someone I know and real close for that favor.

Remember, the Jobs are few and far between with intense competetion among and between immgrants and with Locals far ahead of the game than us.

Your idea is noble though.

If somebody provide the information regarding General process of recruitment for the field job is very helpful to newcomers / job seekers. Companies / Agencies are not directly post their job opportunity on their website but they try first from "internal sources" and if not get then they will publish on web or give advertisement.

If anybody know about how to reach "internal sources" then please mention here for others.

Some Desi are working in Recruitment Agencies, so if anybody know them then ask them the exact recruitment process they internally follow to recruit staff for their client and post here which is really helpful.

I am an immigrant looking out for opportunities in
(ERP) Peoples-Soft World formerly know as J D Edwards World as a Technical consultant or developer analyst positions. Would also like to know how the market for this ERP in Canada? Has any one come across any known installations? How big is the setup? What all interfaces are being used apart from EDI?

Let me know if any one come across any requirement in the above area’s, I will really appreciate the efforts. I would love to work for any organization, that is either migrating from the peoples soft world to one-world or are in co-existence.

Dear all
" NAMASKAAR"
I read mahendra's suggestions and i really liked his thinking how can we help our new desi immigrants. Our this desi website may be really helpful to those new immigrants if we make more and more publicity for this website because as far as i know, very few people may be knowing about this website where most of the information is involved like accomodation with only desi, classified and the main thing is discussion with other people where we can get the solution from our senior desi who have been in Canada for last 10,20,30 years.
So according to me, this website needs good publicity for our new desi immigrants and that's how we can help our new desi comer in Canada.
