Hi. I am seriously contemplating selling my car in U.S. and take a flight (of course with my wife ) to Toronto. I understand, the very next day onwards we will need to get our SIN number, hunt for a job, etc. Just a whole long list of things to do.
Can someone tell me from their experience the following:

a) If for instance, I am living in Missassauga area, how will I manage without a car going to all the above places?

b) If I want to buy a used car, in the Mississauga area again, what are my options? Is buying a used car a complicated process for new-comers? What documents (other than cash ) do I need to have to buy a used car in the first few days of landing? OR is renting a car a cheaper (hence better) option?

I'll anxiously wait to hear about it.
