May I suggest something
To keep this CD free from guys like FF you guys should have more control on user ID creation and if required you should be able to delete /lock any user (Like FF) from posting into this WEBSITE(not only deleting a particular post which u guys are doing)
In some other websites like CD when you try to open an account that is reviewed first by administartor and in future if any user try to misuse the forum adminstrtor has access to delete/lock that user ID
Just a brainstorming ..but give a thought

Today's member count shows 9087 members and how many of them are active? It would be a waste of time to start controlling creation of IDs. Moderators can edit/delete a post which they are already doing and that is fine.

I could not get Rogers Cellphone (on contract) because they asked for $1000 deposit back in January 2004.

Thanks for your input. We already have the ability to lock a user id, but both Garvo and I have never used it and hope not to use it. Its reserved it for worst case scenarios only.

Also user verification at this point in time would be rather tedious for both of us, however that's not a bad suggestion for the future.

And Raj,

I am by no mean saying Rogers service is perfect or they're angels with wings. Having being with them for 4 years, I know their drawbacks.

That does not mean we make up stories though to defame them. Besides, I know for a fact that I'm going to similar issues with any company I sign up with in any part of the world. What sense does it make to connect my experiences with Rogers and blame Canada for it?that?

Both Faltu Funda and Tranqulizer (2-in-1) have been prolific posters to the extent that they dominated many discussions and invariably gave negative twists to everything Canadian.

Many of us have been spending our quality time in answering their questions. I feel we wasted lot of time in addressing non-existent issues. Anyone of you -FF or Tr- speak up and enlighten us about your motive in faking identity.
