Hi,
Is there anybody who landed in Halifax. How are the immigration officers there. Why is landing in montreal different if landed immigrant from Canada. Is it not a part of canada or they have different rules and regulations.Any body living in New brunswick also please reply.
Regards
I have not landed in halifax but I have 'dealt' with the Halifax immigration officials. They are nice.
However, like I mentioned in another post, if there are 'issues' with your landing then don't land in Halifax. Toronto being a better bet.
This is because the officials in Toronto would have much more experience.
Secondly, Quebec is part of canada but diff in many aspects. It does 'its own thing' so to speak.
If on your PR application you mentioned your port of landing as anything other than Quebec, then you will probably have issues landing in quebec.
