for instance if i get a job offer letter can i get my sin no?
i will appriciate your reply

You may go to any drive test office close to you, take the written test so that you get a picture ID. If you need more details, we will help you. Your passport is enough to take the written test.
There is a process ( not short) to get a PR card in the place of one you lost. You will have that info soon.
Try to resolve the issues amicably with your husband if it is possible so that things will easier for you. It is not difficult for you to get a legal help and our forum members can help you .... but make it as a lost resort.
Thanks all for your reply....
i am going for a driver test shortly..
have even contacted cic...hoping for a positive reponse from them...
my husband is the type of person who is willing to sit down and resolve the
issue...he wants to make things as hard as possible for me..
just give some time and dont force things to happen, you can go to newcomer centre and request them to get your new papers.
If you have ur passport then u should have a stamp on ur passport saying that ur are a landed immigrant another way of saying PR.
With ur Passport u should get duplicate copies of PR card, Sin card and also get Drivers license..
Contact http://www.cic.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK through their phone no for more info on PR card.
Go to service canada for ur Sin and Drivers license, they have offices all over the country.
As far as ur husband , if he is the primary applicant , u are a dependant and as per sponsorship agreement he has to support u for 3 years.. so he can get in trouble if u complain to CIC.
Thats ur biggest bargaining chip, use it wisely to get ur documents back and move on..
