What are the average ages of fellow users of the DesiCanadians forum? I'm 19 y 2 mo 1 d of age as of right now. Anyone on here around my age looking to move to Canada?

Adam nope.... thats 'cos desi guys (and mostly gals) of your age are STILL Bound to the apron strings of their parents ...... who will feed them, take care of them and protect them from all the bad stuff in this world

Giga-LOL! But true. I still currently live with my parents and am currently in search of employment down here to help save up until I have enough to take the leap of faith and GO FOR IT! :-D My parents are very kind-hearted and aren't very strict. they know that I know what's right for myself and that I know how to make a good judgement.

My mother expects this from me when she gets 'up there' in age in the future. I'm not sure about my father, as he likes to be independent (sp?) and he often never likes asking for help from people.
To answer your question - I am 29
Applied to CHC in 1999, when i was 24+ and after getting 2 years of work experience and before getting married. Today i have 3.8 years old kid and i am a young father with CAD 5500 income per month/tax free.
Apply when you are young. It is better that you give your initial struggling years in Canada, get to know the market, build networking and always deam Big.
After one year of landing, I am going to sponsor my parents. My father is also in the gulf ( dubai for last 10 years) and IT guru ( 30 years+ in the field).
