People may write what the hell they want, but the answer to the question can be only one of two:
1. Good chances.
2. Not good chances.
I say, IMO the chances are not good.
Is there anyone who can refute that??
The rest is all irrelevant to the the essence of the question.

You don't have a Canadian/US degree, nor do you have Canadian/US experience.. that is going to make it tough but I agree completely with what Blue Lobster says.. it really is hard to predict and it all depends... you could get lucky.. but the market in Canada is undoubtedly not as flexible or dynamic as the US.. for obvious reasons.
Obviously you have most of your experience in IT and you are considering looking for jobs in other areas as well. I think you will have a tough time finding jobs in IT itself, let alone other fields in Canada... so I would seriously consider sticking to India at least for now..

Mr. Bond,
If you are coming to Canada for Career growth then you are mistaken........First of all make up your mind........
If you are looking for the lifestyle and comforts of the Western World then you are through......
Since you have experience and subject knowledge, survive 3 years in Canada and get Canadian passport.............then the whole world is open for you.......
You will then start counting how much is $ 100k

The way Indian IT sector is moving and the salary offered to experienced IT pro in certain places(like Bangalore,Hydrabad etc) if I would have been in your place I would think many times before immigrating to Canada.
Couple of years back when I decided to move to Canada IT market in India was not this much strong ... a few months back one of my friend(he is also a SAP consulatnt like me) who had US project expecrience accepted a offer in the range of 35 lakh p.a(cost to the company)in Bangalore
