Hey what's happening in this forum
If you can't be GOOD to someone then atleast don't be BAD to that person
First thing, I am not supporting person who asked this questions
Why Barasume & Benprasad is 'Fire spitting', I unable to understand
How this people know intention of person when he is asking FEW question
They are talling as if in LIFE they never cheated any SYSTEM
Let me give you few places where there are chances of CHEATING SYSTEM
While applying canada immigration, applying PR, getting SIN, Health card, getting child care benefits, saving taxes etc etc.
Now if Barasume & Benprasad, say they never cheated SYSTEM at any above place or never in India, then....
Everyone knows people comes here, take PR & due to some reason, go back
While coming back, everyone faces some situation like he is facing pregnency etc.
So what's wrong if he wants to know?
See I am not expert in all this things, but trying to answers HIS questions
Cost of DELIVERY in canada is too much if not covered by Health card or Insurance. May be around $3000 to 4000
Also time required to get Passport for child born in Canada will be any thing between 3 to 6 months
Also to get health card, person has to stay 2-3 months before health card validity start.
So if you don't have enough time, its better to complete things outside Canada
I hope this information is good enough, but if you want to know more, write back.
No one stop you in writing your queries.
This forum is for SUCH discussion only
I saw more stupid & silly question than this in FORUM
... Would just like to say one thing as mentioned earlier, let's not try to judge anything based on questions asked...
Hope OP himself can explain the motive. If understood correctly, it was to come here for the purpose and return.
...If you can't be GOOD to someone then at least don't be BAD to that person...
In fact, I was trying to be good. More such happening will lead to tighter measures. We have already seen sea changes in the system to harder due to such happenings before.
...They are telling as if in LIFE they never cheated any SYSTEM...
You may judge, as I did. But you seconded my point.
...Let me give you few places where there are chances of CHEATING SYSTEM
While applying Canada immigration, applying PR, getting SIN, Health card, getting child care benefits, saving taxes etc etc...
Now may be in your next post you will go on and elaborate, ‘How to …’. I will simply suggest, if there are, try to stop them and keep the flow linier for future generations.
...This forum is for SUCH discussion only...
This is not; and let us not make it one.
...I saw more stupid & silly question than this in FORUM...
And it proves that this was.

Thank you m2611 who has contributed in a fruitful way. I think we got our answers....even though you do not support the question, you atleast made the effort of not generalizing the intention. Really appreciate!
Thanks even to (benparsad + Barasume).....benparsad, wish you would use your time to understand situations and then pass "judgements". We all have situations which are beyond our control....don't really want to argue / counter argue & explain my situation to YOU!
Good luck to all before I request this thread to be closed.
Sorry Saburi I am replying again in this thread. I know you requested to closed this thread.
I forget to inform you one Important info.
I have one suggestion to you. If you have time enough & not in hurry in coming back Canada, its better to Complete Pregnency & other thigs in India itself. In India, hospitals are better, you will get Emotional support from Family & friends ( Which is rare in Canada)
Finallly what is important is health of mother & child
But remember, once child is born outside Canada & since you are PR holder.
To complete immigration for child, MAY take few months. Not sure exactly how much.
So now MOST IMPORTANT
Inform Canada Immigration about Pregnancy & expected date of delivery of Child by sending letter, either by mail or by fax
This will help when you actully apply for Child immigration
Now if you need further information, can PM me or write in this forum
About Benprasad. I don't want to reply at all, as his reply is MOST IRRESPONSIBLE reply I ever found in forum
Thanks a lot, m2611 for your response. Really appreciate....your taking time to give us relevant information. Will surely get in touch if need be. Good luck!
Hi,
It does take a lot of research and subsequent analysis of all of the systems that exist in Canada and I personally had to read word by word to arrive at this and still I need some confirmation from those that have settled down there in the recent days to give us all a correct picture of things in this field, which is Alberta Health Care and Insurance Plan. (AHCIP) I will post the link and the body of the material I am quoting to you all, so that you can form your own conclusion in this subject matter.
One thing that I noted was that you get your Health Care Coverage in Alberta from the VERY FIRST DAY OF ENTRY into that province, even if you arrive from outside of Canada for the first time. But it takes some time to process and provide with the papers and the CARD.
You also PAY for such coverage, for yourself and /or your whole Family before you receive the card. It is a Pay as you go system.
Now for other formalities: You can come down and rent a place and get a PERMANENT address for yourself and the Family by renting a single Bedroom Apartment for a start. It may be a little bit more expensive than Ontario, but the comforts will be the same as anywhere else in Canada.
You find a Family Doctor soon after your arrival or through some friends or relatives in the location that you would like to settle. Get her/him to recommend all of the necessary tests and due formalities as soon as he can and get the needed tests done prior to the date of delivery. They will done be at NO cost to you.
You and your spouse will have to attend the Pre Natal Clinic and go through the motions that one needs to practice. Be supportive about it.
After all of the formalities are completed and you get a PROPER assessment and arrive at a DUE date, do some practice runs from your residence to the Hospital either in your own vehicle or with the TAXI runs and you now know the LEAD time that you need to arrive at the hospital, providing you with the margin for traffic conditions and the time of the day.
Organize in such a fashion that you obtain a receiving blanket, other needed items such as diapers for a six pound infant, a set of feeding bottles, wet wipes and other accessories for an initial start. Don't forget the Woodwards Gripe water and a nice silver spoon.
YES you also need a 'NEW' Baby Car seat for Taxi to travel back and forth.
All of this foregoing is good ONLY if the Physician at YOUR END permits the travel of the 'Mother with the Baby' from where ever you are!!
Who said it can't be done? It is feasible but knowing the systems takes time.
When we come down here we have to do our best to come upto the TOP and like wise we have to learn the best there is and what is available in this country and utilize the same to our Best Advantage. That should be our goal.

""Moving To And From Canada
If you are permanently moving from Alberta to another country you can arrange for AHCIP coverage for up to three months from the date of your departure, provided your account is paid up and your extended coverage is pre-paid before you leave.
If you are moving or returning to Alberta from outside Canada, you may be eligible for coverage on the date of your arrival. To ensure coverage, you must register within three months of arrival. Newcomers to Canada are required to present a copy of their Canada entry document. Please contact us for more information if you or your dependants hold temporary immigration documents.
* To apply for coverage, complete and return the Application for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan Coverage (Form AHC0102) PDF icon
When Your Coverage Begins
Please note: You are not covered for medical services under the AHCIP until all the required information is received and your application is processed. However, any medical services you receive and pay for before your application is processed may be reimbursed once you have your personal health card and can show eligibility for the period when you received the services. You will be responsible for the payment of premiums from the date your coverage is effective, based on the following:
* If you move to Alberta from within Canada your coverage begins the first day of the third month following the date you establish permanent residency here. For example, if you establish permanent residency in Alberta on July 12, your coverage is effective October 1.
* If you move to Alberta from outside Canada your coverage begins on your date of arrival in Alberta.
If the Application for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan Coverage is not received within 90 days of the date you arrive and establish permanent residency in Alberta, Alberta Health and Wellness will determine the effective date of your coverage under the late registration policy.

Sorry for the belated reply and letting this thread drag. Make a valued decision and do not undertake any travel even if there is an inkling of doubt or a trace of risk involved in your travel. This is a WARNING and not a word of caution.
You are taking this under strict advice.
Freddie.

Well, majority will decide, which way 'Canadian Desi' forum will move. But I stick to my views.
