Hello,
Has anyone in the forum traded on Options and Futures? Who are the good brokers in Canada for this type of trading. Are there any specialised options brokers here like optionsexpress in the USA? Is it possible for a Canadian Resident to have a US broker?

My frined is a financial planner with more than 10 years experience in Options and Futures and is one of the leading options trader in Toronto. He is presently with CIBC WOODGUNDY and used to be with MERRIL LYNCH earlier.

Are you wanting to trade on stocks or in currencies?

If in currencies, you may get in touch with REFCO - it is a world class company and offers internet trading too. You can find the details at Refco.com or Refcoforex.com

They have a big office in Citi Bank Plaza (123 Front Street West) in Downtown Toronto.

Actually I am looking for option / future trading brokers / CFPs in the Vancouver area .
Promod thanks for the offer to introduce the CFP - but am not in the league of the minimum amount required by him!

Discount Brokers like TD Waterhouse, Action Direct, Etrade etc..all offer options trading. They are cheap compared to full service brokers with no minimums. They have 1-800 numbers or u can trade online also.
