What is the show about?

They enroll about a dozen couples, start them off at a specific point with limited food and money and then make them go around the world. In each country, they have to figure out obstacles and look for clues and then finally go for what's called a "pit stop". Each time, the team that reaches the pit-stop last gets eliminated.

The last team standing wins a million bucks.

This is the first season I'm watching the show and I loved it so far, its quite gripping. You get to see all these new places and exotic locales and very little of that Survivor scheming and conniving.

The teams are currently in India, I think they'll leave in the next episode for somewhere else.

As in Munna bhai MBBS, he says," Dont you see any other thing in India than the partly clad beggers etc."

It is all about portrayel. When talking abt Canada, people tend to focus on good points only, and otherwise for some other country.

My supervisor gori came to office and started narrating about the program she saw. I did not see it.
I could sense that she was surprised about the conditions there....and I told her after getting her side of infothat India does have other side too .Many offices are as good as these ones here and I had a computer on my desk for about 8 years before coming here.( She referred to a office scene with no automation). It may be more of a dramatisation and in recent years atleast, scenario has changed.

This is what I am referring to: The network gets the ratings but we are saddled with the questions and smirks. Why do cows walk on the streets? Do u guys have computers there? Have u had youe head shaved....etc. etc.

I have only 2 cents to contribute, not a cent more, not a cent less ;-)
