Not sure whether Ravi Shastri said 'retire' . He mentioned though to 'play' forgetting the milestone.

Do we have a promising and consistent player who is waiting to come to team after tendulkar will retire ? Consider him one of the 16 players in team, I am sure there are 4-5 players weaker than him to be replaced first. Problem with us indians is we are into Gods. We made him god and now expect to play double the capacity of a normal player while many other are failing.

If rajnikanth (another god ! ) can be stunty movie hero in his 60s , tendulkar is too young to reitre !!
