My bag was lost by the airline carrier, returned after two days in damaged condition. It wasn't repaired, replaced nor was I compensated for the loss of time and money by the airline office in India. After coming back I wrote a letter to the airline demanding a compensation. They wrote back to me and offered me a compensation of $ 100 as I donot have any receipts for damages and lost items. $ 100 is not acceptable to me and I want to get a suitable compensation for loss of my time, money and problems i faced as a result.
Can someone advise me on how can I go about from here. Can I hire a lawyer ? or can i get some legal help from government or should i just accept the $ 100 compensation ...please advise

If you have not lost anything valuable, Just accept the 100$ and move on ..
