And Do I need to take the test for Academic or General modules ??

And alos let me know if asking for IELTS by CIC means that rest of my documents are ok and they just need my IELTS score to decide on interview/medical ??

You need to take the General IELTS

Well, after they receive the IELTS, they will either waive your interview and give you your medical documents, or request for an interiview. At that point the letter will state that they have completed the initial assessment of your application and based on that they will state whether they require or they do not require a interview.

I had asked at the test centre and I was informed that I need to take the Academic test ?..So now I am confused.Can somebody please clarify this ??

If you have applied for immigration then GENERAL category is fine.
