To those who have been updating me about citizenship applications filed in Aug 2004, Many thanks.

I've just got a letter from CIC, asking me to appear for a test on 9th August.

My timelines reg the citizenship process are:
Applied on 17th August 2004.
Acknowledgement received : 21st Jan 2005
Test date: 9th August 2005.

that's really good....we filed citizenship appln in july 2004....recd acknowledgment letter in abt 2-3 months...no news since then....when I check online.....it just shows that they started processing the appln in Mar 2005.....

What is imp to understand here is that we moved from Toronto to Mississauga in Nov 2004, changed add and all info on cic website....got cfmn abt the same....when I check my appln status online, it would show me Mississauga add....but after reading this thread when I called cust svc to find out the exact status....they still had my Toronto add and the girl cfmd that there was a comp glitch and that many more had similar prob....luckily for me according to her nothing was mailed at Toronto add and now she changed the add

So if you have changed your add online....better call then and recfm

How did your test go ? hope you did well.
Can you please tell me how you studied for the test.
I did read the 'Look to Canada Guide" & some other material.
But i have heard there are about 200 FAQ avail. cant get my hands on those.

Your help will be appreciated.

My time Line : applied for CitizenShip in Dec 2004
My test is scheduled for Aug 13, 2005
