After study permit or post-grad work permit, then what?

I wonder, how many people have a study permit or post-grad work permit and it's going to expire and you guys are looking for a way to extent.

I would like to know what everyone does in that case. Let's share the experience here.

apply for immigration once the one year work experience requirement is met and then either apply for an extension to the workpermit or get a student visa and start doing some more schooling.
