Read what the minister said "... we need more immigrants to help foot the bill for new infrastructure, such as roads and bridges."
Good News! They will require more taxi drivers & pizza delivery folks on those new roads and bridges they are going to build with YOUR money!
Is there a catagory for "post graduate taxi drivers" or "pizza delivery executives" in the skills list?
newspaper delivery graduates or truck driving graduates?

What if these immigrants become a burden themselves and are not able to "pay up"?
Who's going to pay for them.......more immigrants?

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
They know that immigrants bring settlement funds with them & also they pay fees for immigration.
All these settlement funds are bound to go into the Canadian economy. Most of the immigrants do settle (unsettle) into some kind of job even though they might not like the field of work.
Then after some time, another batch of immigrants come in. So the cycle goes on. Not many people will be on actual welfare.
