get some other relative who is comming here to carry it for you!

I hope you have seen what happened when he tried doing that. Carrying someone else's passport/Photo ID is illegal.

Hi Chandy,

try to get your PP through someone.
Travel to US (nearest country) and then come to Canada again.

I think this is the only way. I cannot imagine of any other way.

Cheers.
Hutton

First you go and dick around with the rules.. then you go and ask strangers without any professional knowledge as to how to get out of jam by doing another illegal or screwed up thing..
Boy.. ppl like you are why my Indian passport is checked twice every time I cross into USA.. ppl like you are why every document from India needs to be certified and then recertified again..
Shame on you.. Why was it so impossible to do it the right way first time??
Now do this FED-EX thing and next time remember every action you take has consequences .. not just for you.. but also for your countrymen, kids and posterity.. we screwed up India pretty good and now have to flee to western countries for better life and better systems.. lets not screw up these systems too..
I just hope someone rats you out to CIC and packs your lame-ass to whichever part of god-forsaken third world you came from!

I fully agree with windsor boy's reply and let other desis also voice their opinion in support of windsor boy's reply and stop unscrupulous people from further degrading desis reputation.

as far as the advice I can give to the original post is

1. You have applied in Delhi and moved to Canada as a student . How did you get a student visa in the first place because it is a visa with temporary status and you have to explicitly demonstrate that you are not going with an intention to settle whereas you have applied for a PR. How is that possible that a student visa was issued to you in the first place.

2. Even if you came to canada on a student visa, did you inform CIC delhi of change in your addressafter you moved to canada.

3.Why did you not ask for advice when sending the passport to India and now why do you need advice to get the passport back. You know more than anybody.

4. When sending the pasport to CIC delhi which address did you mention in the correspondence . Indian or Canadian. If it is Indian address, you have declared that you are in India while you are still in Canada.

5. The only option I can suggest is come clean before CIC
