You owned website and you don't know the laws? This is a private board and the moderators/owners have got everyright to refuse anybody using this board.
And you must have read the terms of use before joining this board. You have to agree the conditions before using this board.
Who is going to visit your site? Is there any reason someone has to visit your site when you yourself need to visit CanadianDesi? If your website is number one what are you doing on CanadianDesi?
His website mentioned on CTV program. Even Joe Volpe now knowing about it.

Guys,
I've removed all references to his site. I've warned this guy before not to try to get hits on his site via Canadiandesi before.
Previously he owned another so called medicine site (which is still operational) that he tried to sell some book with. And guess where he'd post links all the time!
This thread is about Canadiandesi and the ranking is something for all of us to be proud of. And absolutely, thanks to all contributors who volunteer their time here for the community. And thanks to everyone who used the site and then returned to help others out when they had the opportunity.
The focus has never been to be the number 1 site anywhere, the focus has always been to create a platform for the desi community to interact on. And this has been possible because of the contribution of so many members.

Apun thinking ke yeh moderator ka kaam hai. To inform Garvo that he should at least saying 'Thank You' to contributors. Jaisa usne apun ko bola to tone down transmogrification, apun ne kiya. Lakin phir bhi har apne aap ko apla.

U r tolding focus yaan mandate was never to be number one lakin ab jo no.6 aur no.2 ranking mila hai then Garvo want to go higher. This is the same user whose IP was blocked and I think he is accessing our site from another IP address. This time we may not want to block him IP again.
When his IP was blocked he kept sending us threatening emails everyday (for months) with a title \"warning\", \"serious warning\" - and what his warnings were? It was about suing us!
He is so desperate to publicize his site on CanadianDesi. I haven't seen any of his media coverage, but having title like not Canada can bring interest among media, as negativism always liked by media so there is nothing new with it.
This guy also sends spammed our members. Mass spamming is not possible on CanadianDesi, so he must have clicked each member's profile and sent an email! So much work!
We have seen people promoting their site on CanadianDesi before. They are most welcomed to do so in the appropriate section like business or links. However creating a site similar to CanadianDesi and promoting crazily in the charcha section and threatening us is totally not acceptable. We do have terms and conditions and we can ban any member from using the site if he/she is not following the rules. We do not need to give any reason. Usage of CanadianDesi is upon acceptance of terms and conditions.
The things are very clear. We are out of any competition. Somebody putting there site name is not going to disturb us at all. It is about the fair practices and professionalism we are expecting from the people.
We never promoted CanadianDesi by visiting and promoting ourselves on other site, we never send any spam, and we never subscribed any email lists. It is only the quality of content made us so popular.
