....guess my mind works faster than my fingers..

Perhaps it was the other way around..........and now you realise that you can not put your figures and assumptions to match your comments and assumed results - specially on a public forum and therefore you refrain from doing it.

If your assumptions are correct and figures do match to prove your point, why send me a private e-mail? I am not your paying client so the info/research/inferences drawn is good for me as well as for anyone else on this discussion and people reading it......why limit it to me? For all I know you only stand to gain from it. If your point is correct, you will be given more regard by more persons, if they have some anomoly, people will point that out and help you revise your plans/calculations accordingly for your own benefit.

I hope you get the point that all I am trying to do is let everyone of us have an insight into some wonderful retirement planning and also to bring home the point that what anyone claims to be right, should be provable and not a statement out of thin air.

"if u want, I can send u a detailed e-mail of how it will work..of course there r some assumptions.."

Rohit

I feel I can see thru what u intend to say, and am interested to see your plan either thru private mail or thru public, please let me know how you intend to do that, I have done my own calculations and the major assumptions are:

1.You know what you want in later years in life.

2.You have the financial capcacity /means to stand by it.

3. By living like a king you mean living the life you want to live in YOUR WAY.

I will appreciate your reply to this.

""Getting Canadian citizenship is like buying insurance. Can anyone predict what India is gonna be like in 40 years? Petrol at 300 rupees / liter ? Back to ration raj? Civil war ? An exit strategy is necessary if you return to India. ""

Can anyone predict what Canada would be like in 40 yrs, if petrol in India would cost rs 300/litre, would it still be 90c/litre in canada?

what if Bin laden takes a turn and comes after Canada...

well dear its all uncertain, we even dont know of next day and comparing for 40 yrs is way too ahead

One of my friend from Pakistan returned to is homeland after getting citizenship. He said he is palnning to get CCTB for his four kids from homeland.

Some of my friends have send their kids back to homeland to their grandparents and claimimg CCTB.

Thats sad. First that kids have to grow up without being near their parents..secondly that the parents assume that grandparents are able to raise children or want to. Why have kids if your not going to bother raising them yourself?

People want the benefits of living in Canada..like child tax credit..but without living here. ISnt that like frauding or abusing a system?
