"Sources say that an astrologer was responsible for what Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda called the worst day of his life. The pundit apparently told Kumaraswamy: "If you delay you will never become chief minister." It was this that prompted him to gather 40-odd supporters and go to Raj Bhavan and give Governor T N Chaturvedi the letter withdrawing support to the Dharam Singh-led coalition."
God has come in the form of Kumaraswamy to save Kannadigas. Dharam Singhs administration has done nothing for the state of Karnataka when you compare him to people like Devraj URS, S.M.Krishna, J.H.Patel, Bangarappa , Ramakrishna Hegde or ex-Railway Minister Jaffer Sheriff. After his administration has taken over infrastructure, law & order situtation has gone from bad to worse. This is the reason why many IT companies are moving out of Bangalore.
Dharam Singh is famous for the Benny Hinn episode, where he organized the Benny Hinn Show in Bangalore against the public opposition with police protection. More over he went and fell flat at the feet of Benny Hinn in this show. If people would have watched I think either the 60 minutes or the 20/20 show on Benny Hinn they know about his background. More over Bangaluru is becoming the safe haven for the Mumbai mafia, after the Mumbai police have started cracking down on them.
Lastly the Indian Institute of Science attack clearly exposes the deteriorating law and order situation there.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh is next in line for his \\\"Tirupati\\\" fiasco !

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

If I am right it was Deve Gowda who fell on his feet, Not Dharam Singh'

Hi CD members,
Being a Christian and a watcher of Benny Hinn's programs , I have to say the following.
I did watch Benny Hinn's meetings in B'lore on TV (Shown by Cts. In fact Benny Hinn's programmes are shown each weekday at 10:30 pm on CTS which is Channel 9).
I saw both Dharam Singh and Deve Gowda on the Platform with Benny Hinn. Since Dharam Singh was the CM and he had to please the other minority groups while he is in power he did not show any emotion on the miracles that were performed. However Deva Gowda sir was clearly emotional on the miracles performed and opened his mouth in awe on the miracles performed.
On the platform none of them touched the feet of Benny Hinn (or in case they did was not shown on Canadian TV).
Thanks
TK
