ஹலோ நண்பா, நான் ராஜேஷ் (சென்னை இது வரைக்கும் நான் எந்த நாட்டிற்கும் போனதுய்ல்லை. இப்போ தான் முதல் தடவய, துபை வந்தேன்.

I am not tamil but I have both Indian and Srilankan Tamil friends.

The reason why some Indian tamils keep distance with Srilankan tamils is because they don't want to be associated with srilankan tamils with links to organizations banned in India and western countries and the kind of people that are sometimes involved in arms trafficking and money laundering.

It is all due to a few bad apples the whole Srilankan Tamil community gets a bad name.

Thushara - It is common sense that people want to stay away from trouble so don't think this is racism

Hi All,

I am a new member here. I am basically from Chennai, but have ties with Karnataka and Andhra

I have tried joining the "Friends interested in Gym, Movies etc","Tamil friends" and "Tamils" networking group, but I have not recieved any response neither my name is listed on the members.

Please can somebody guide me.

Eventhough I have been in Canada for almost a decade,I have not had the oppurtunity to network with fellow desis.
