hi guys..

i applied for PR from Buffalo and got AOR in March 2005.

Today, i got a letter from the Buffalo office stating that my file has been transferred to the Detroit office.

can someone please tell me what this means..???
i have heard that they are doing this to reduce the load on the Buffalo office.

Can someone tell me more about the timeline after the file has been transferred like this..??

thanks a lottt !!!

the same thing happened to us. u will be called for an interview soon. you will need to take all the original papers that you submitted with you application. take anything that has been added to your resume too. take enough proof of your emploment. the officer had called our office to varify if it was genuine and talk toi my husbands boss. so make sure u have them informed. i will also get caip noted to see what the officer in buffallo put in it..

it took us 4 months to get a date of interviesw after it was transfered then we had 5 months to wait for it. the officers there make up their mind right away. and let you knoe oif u got through, they are very nice ppl.
