Its been more than 2 months and we have not received any reply from Canadian Embassy , New Delhi. They asked for my parents passport and medical . The medical of my father was redone as he is a heart patient. They also asked for the Landing fees.

We provided them with everything , but still have not received any reply yet from the Embassy. What could be the reason ?

Can anyone suggest ?

Was the re-medical of your father done with in the past two months on request by CIC?

Yes. thats correct and at that time they asked for the Landing papers too.
But its been one month or maybe more than that and still no reply.

Normally, in some cases medical is redone again if the person has pre-condition which it seems the case with your father.

but do you know why are they taking so much time now to give reply.

My mother was also asked to go for re-medicals for her vist visa as she has problem with heart (since her birth). She underwent re-medicals two months back, but so far there is no news from CHC. We sent a fax reminder once and do not know what else we can do.Was your father asked to go for any specific test for heart? My mother was asked to go for echo-cardiography test.

My parents also applied for visitor visa and they have sent passport and medical but my mother got the remedical with same echo-cardio test.

I am little scared what is next ! what happend in your case if you reply then i can get the idea.
