Hi every one,

Alas, at last I got a site where I can get tonnes of loads of useful info. Site maintenance is excellent. It is a one stop shop for all immi needs. hats off to Mr Massood.

Massood bhai, I have a critical question reg. my PR application. After applying for PR in Jan 2001 from New Delhi. I went to UK on a work permit. I remained there for 1 Year 8 months and engaged my self in a profession which was not mentioned in my original application with CHC. Since I was on a IT work permit and did a non IT job, which is illegal... I thought it improper to inform to CHC.

After that I came to Newzealand again on a IT work permit and I am unemployed in that field for the past 1 year and three months.

Having been informed by Immigration authorities regarding their intention to cancel my Visa due to unemployment, I flown back to India.

Now i am informed by CHC to fill new forms. Could you please throw light on whether I need to show the actual professions I worked in UK, whcih are unrelated to my qualification anyway. And can I show this unemployment in Newzealand.

Apart from all these, since my application is locked for the professions mentioned in the original application, How this unempolyment and different jobs effect my chances of immigration to Canada.

And what will be the bearing on my application if newzealand authorities cancel my visa?

You have to be truthful to CHC. There's no such thing as 99% truthful.

You should disclose exactly what you did over the past 2 yrs. Don't worry about whether your job in UK was related to your qualifications or indeed your work permit. If you've been asked to fill new forms, this means the visa officer will assess you under new law. You can do a self-assessment and find out whether you now score 67 or not.
