Dear all,
I'm sure this is not a normal situation- I'm married to a Canadian born (Quebecois) who is living in Quebec. I'm in Canada on 1year Visitor visa and have applied for PR on 31st May 2006. {I know I've been stupid to be not in touch with site earlier and I could've applied from Delhi}. Now I've learnt that to get even an acknowledgement letter will take 8-9 Months, My question- is there anyway that I can get to work here? Or can I apply for work visa here as I'm waiting for reply from CIC? Or what people do? Any experiences? Your support will be valuable and I will be happy to provide more info if needed.
