Will the CIC officials take our IMM1000 form during the oath ceremony?? If we are applying for OIC we may need the original and a copy of IMM 1000. This is one of the documents we need while appying for OIC.

" Original and a copy of landing paper issued by the Canadian Immigration authorities for those who earlier had an Indian Passport. If original has been lost, a duplicate may be obtained from Canadian authorities"

As far as I know, the IMM 1000 gets updated (whatever that means) and the PR card gets taken away.

The IMM1000 gets stamped as (not valid any more) during the citizenship oath

We will find a way or we will make one

"Not valid for Travel" may be different from Not valid anymore.

IMM 1000 could still be used by a PR to enter Canada while travelling by a non-commercial transportation. Whereas, after you get citizenship, IMM 1000 cannot be used at all.
