I know there have been many postings on this but i just wanted to confirm because I have read contradictory statements.

What is needed in original and what is needed in photo copy, also what should be noterised copy and which may not be ?

1. T4 - original or copy or noterised copy ?
2. Notice Of Assessment - original or copy or noterised copy ?
3. Pay Slips - original or copy or noterised copy ?
4. Invitation letter - noterised ?
5. Affidavit of support - required ? noterised ?
6. bank Statements - I can send originals.

Excepting the invitation letter nothing listed by you require to be original. Nothing needs to be notarized also. Of course there are other items ( like passport of the visitor) which has to be in original.

I did get the invitation letter notarized because the website said "notorized if necessary" on the website. I couldn't not infer what would term as necessary so had it notorized anyway. However did not notorize any of the other documents and all the others except the banck statements were photocopies.
