I'm new to the forum and I am currently applying for my OCI. I noticed that this might be a good place to ask questions regarding these problems. One of the OCI requirements for me is to provide the original landing passports of my parents and their original landing papers + photocopies. However, my father cannot find his original landing passport. Has anyone dealt with this situation before and resolved it?

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess my best shot is with the "Verification of entry" form. I'll go to the Indian embassy this week to see if they are satisfied with this as a replacement for my father's lost landing passport. The thing I want to say is the Landing paper is easily replaceable (although it takes at least half a year!) but the missing passport may be a different story but who knows! I'll update this thread with the answer so that future folks don't have to go through the misery!
