I need some clarification in this regard.
I have migrated from dubai via india.means last five years I have stayed few months in India and mostly in dubai. Last year landed in canada and doing temp jobs.stayed in US for some time recently.
I was told that all the dates should be very accurate with references for security clearances. My employer was not willing to wait long for cleranaces as he needs people now.
Clearances for my stay in US, if required, how to get. Please kindly clarify...It is very urgent for me.

I do not know about your specific circumstance, normally people take police clearance for the places where they have resided for more than 6 months. One of my friends has visited 103 countries on various assignments/tourism, taking security clearance for all those places would get him in a soup.
Touring the country do not require security clearance from that country for employment in Canada. The security clearance is required from countries where you lived and worked. (mostly spending 6 months in a country is deemed lived and worked). But in US even if you worked for 2-3 months its better to get the FBI clearance. Do not take chance on that one.
you'll find some info here : http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/ssi-iss/personnel/enqut-scrnng-eng.html
In your case , You will need clearance from India, Dubai and US. For US there will be excercise of sending them fingerprints on a form.
