I have my doubts about the study and 'results' of this research.
First, Psychologists have studied and determined that men are more visually oriented then women. Secondly, by inferring that longer ring finger = higher amount of testosterone seems presumptious. How many people have they studied? No other studied widely published has ever equated physical appearance with hormones (except for obvious male/female characteristics). This is like saying 1 + 2 = 56 (imo).
Secondly, from a feminist perspective, the implication and how the article has portrayed I feel it is implied that:
a) men are motivated soley by sexual instinct and cannot use reasoning and intelligence to make financial or other business decisions if they see sexualized advertising.
b) Women are sexually provocative beings that distract men from business or important decisions just by their presence. Therefore, women may have no place in the business world or if they do, their presence can deflect men's attention from the projects at hand.
What can be the result? Control over : women's work? freedom of dress?
From what I understand, there are countries in the world that have religious and cultural sanction to control women because it is believed that women's sexuality will distract men.
This study does not write what the implications are/can be, but the findings can be interpreted in a variety of ways.
What do others think?

I have never seen this in India.
Just wait for few days and somebody will say that there is no relation between the two.

I agree. Its funny how studies always contradict the most recent findings
"drink coffee.dont drink coffee. etc".What have you never seen in India . Be warned ; this could lead to another india vs. canada debate
