Maybe one day, the province will ban all dish and order it to be removed.
I am sure that soon when some channel gains monopoly in Canada (like Rogers, Bell etc...), they will lobby the govt. to have all the dishes banned
As i see that day not in the near future, Enjoy it while you can.

Sidenote : For those of you afraid to use the dish, please be informed that even in 1998, Dishes were allowed in Riyadh, Saudi (the strictest place in saudi). Almost every one had the dish and were seeing movies which would never be allowed to be watched in Saudi Arabia. The muthaba's (religious leaders for prevention of vice and promotion of virthure) allowed it. If in Saudi, it was allowed, i donot not see it being banned in Canada
Sidenote 2 : I donot own a dish in my home.

I hope you're proven wrong when you say....the province will ban all dish...

Rogers & BEV have been trying hard for a few years now. They managed to get a Federal ruling which states that selling these receivers for use in Canada is illegal (I'm talking of FTA's). Inspite of that there were places selling them openly. Next they tried to make it illegal to install them, which meant any official could just walk into your home and seize your equipment and probably penalize you. Unfortunately even after a few years it's still not been passed as a law.

OK..LETS LEAVE IT TO INDIVIDUAL CHOICE.

BUT IS THERE SOMEONE WHO HAS COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE ON INSTALLATION OF THIS DISH AND RECEIVER OR KNOWS SOMEONE WHO CAN DO THIS JOB DONE.

R THERE ANY STORES OUT THERE WHO SELL THESE STUFF AND CAN MAKE ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS.

I HAVE HEARD THAT EVERY MONTH OR SO THESE RECEIVERS GET BUSTED AND WE HAVE TO FEED IN A NEW KEY OR INSTALL THE PROGRAM.....CAN ANYONE ELABORATE THIS POINT AND EXPLAIN HOW EXACTLY THIS WORKS.
