Dear All,

I, along with my family (wife and child) are planning to immigrate to Canada from the UAE.
We have checked the immigration website cic.gc.ca, noted down the requirements and
downloaded the required forms.

I have a few questions. I will be grateful if someone answers them. They are :

1. What is the meaning of certified copies of educational certificates ? We have the originals
Degree certificates attested and notarized by the UAE Embassy in India. Will a copy of these
be sufficient? OR Do we need to get the photocopy certified as True Copy? If yes, where can
I get this done in the UAE?

2. Do we need to get any other diplomas (such as computer course
diploma/ secretarial course diploma) certified as well OR will
a copy be sufficient?

2. Do I need to get my previous employment contract / service letters certified?
The letters are all on company letterheads with the company stamp.

3. Do we need to get our birth and marriage certificates certified?
