Hi,

I understand that CIC looks if the Parent sponsoring his son/daughter is is working or not , my dad is retired & would be spnsoring his daughter for a years course (Fee plus lodging : 9 lacs ) , he is showing liquid assetts in bank to be around 20 lacs besides property.

Me being the brother can become a co sponsor , though I can only show only 4 lacs in my account buy I am onjob & have contionus income. ( I have applied for PR and hope my application will not be an hinderence)

Sholuld I become a co sponsor or not , my concern is that my dad just retired last year & it should not hamper the process

I have almost similar situations as yours.
