Hi All,
I saw a few posts and 2 of the members of CD who have already moved back to India. Everyone has their own reasons for the move. I am also returning in another 2 months time back to India. Before anyone jumps at conclusions, let me tell you all I have a great job (in the range of $40,000 annual + commissions) and a promotion in progress, so no way the job is an issue except for this that I had much more satisfaction in my job while in India where I was working for leading media companies before migrating here !
My main reason for R2I is closeness to my own people and sense of 'belonging' which I miss a lot here.
I would encourage others who are in same boat to share their experiences here
R2India
I agree with R2India comments and the reason.
I know more three family left to india with the similar reason who had nice jobs for living. We can't blame anybody over here. Myself planning to move shortly.
Goodluck to all
Hang on to your Passport as you can avail of free evacuation by Canada in case of a war

You know you are a desi when ........ You spew forth the virtues of India, but don't want to live there...............You've never had a tanning salon membership
Hey there Loser,
I am not taking Canadian Citizenship and not even interested in it, I am more keen to retain my Indian citizenship. May be you can maintain your Indian Citizenship ( I am assuming you are an Indian)
considering that India is on a boom and you might wanna come back to India at some point of time !!!!
Let me ask you one question, what if Canada is at war
(which seems likely with the new policies on middle east/Afghanistan of our honourable Prime Minister)
where will you go ????
what if Canada is at war
When Canada was at war (II World War), Canadians of Japanese origin in BC had a very difficult time. But India and Canada will be on the same side if ever such a war breaks out.
