I would like to get my fellow CD's opinion/guidance/suggestion on the following:
NOTE: I've already looked through CD classified on the above and did not find any suitable posting. I did find a advertisement on CD for obtaining quotes for this from another website, which I've filled in already.
1.Where can I find new Hard shell Luggages for travel to India of the type Elanza ULC http://www.vipbags.com/productlounge/vip/cat_main.asp?domestic=1.
Is it cheaper to buy in India or here in Canada ?. I checked Dixie Outlet Mall and the prices of Benetton luggage of smaller size is $250 plus. I heard there is a Delsey outlet store somewhere near the airport, does somebody know anything more ?
2.I would like to fix 2 window Air conditioners and where can I find a low cost installer for the same and what are the typical rates going for these types of jobs for a decent quality job ?
Thank You for your kind response(s).

starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
India is far cheaper... you can get large size American Tourister for around $230 . Samsonite will cost $100-200 more. The quality of both were good....same company anyway.
I can answer your Question# 2:
It is easier to find santa claus than find someone who can install a Window AC.
Believe me, i have made tons of calls looking for a small time technician who can do this....to utter disbelief
The ones who are ready to do it..will charge you an arm and a leg on a hourly basis..
finally, a sri lankan friend give me a good advice....'Thambi, this is canada va, the land of 'do-it-all-by-yourself'..It is *simble*...you can do it urself, know'
I finally did it myself!
All you need is a couple of wood pieces(courtesy of Homedepot), to fill the gap on the top of the AC, this wood piece will automatically balance the AC....
For safety, i drove screws into the concrete wall and installed steel wall brackets(from walmart) at the back of AC..
let me know if you need more info..

I've tried in US of A and also in Canada and no luck till now on the Hard Shell Luggage. I'm able to get good soft shell luggage but it can be cut open with a knife or it can also tear during transportation.
I'm on the look out for Hard Shell luggage and till to date the best prices are available in Middle East or at Saravana Stores, Chennai.
