Hi,
I did not find a suitable forum to post this so I am posting it here. I just finished a book yesterday written by a person who came and settled in Canada from Kuwait. He has written his experiences, how hard it was for him to find a place to work.
He had the right amount of knowledge and expertise, but could not find something suitable, so in the end he tried different business.
He was conned at many and he failed at mostly everything he put his money in. Everyone took advantage of his position and the fact he had a lot of money and they took every bit he had earned.
In the end he rebounds and again wins even more than what he lost. So this book is about despair and hope. Ideas on what to avoid and experiences on what to do.
So I thought of recommending this book to anyone who might be interested in a good read.
In some places he has depicted his experiences in a very humorous manner it made me laugh in several occassions and in some he has truly shown remarkable courage and perseverance.
So hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I have.

The Author name is Andrew Hamilton. Are you sure he is from Kuwait?
I believe so, he has described his experiences from Kuwait in great detail. He was there during the first gulf war and explained in great detail his experiences.
