Does anyone know of private career counsellors, not the Government agencies in the Lower Mainland of B.C., ie. Vancouver and adjoining areas. I would appreciate any listing or contacts of career counsellors who specialize in career changes.

Can you clarify what type of career counselling assistance you are looking for? Have you tried the HRDC funded agencies?

When someone is looking at a career change..and are unsure of what career they would be suited for, a career planning or career decision making program can help.

Thanks Morning Rain for your reply. I thought the Govt. funded agencies or the career planning programs were for individuals on E.I. , please excuse my ignorance. I think I am more suited for a career decision making program or counselling as I am well settled in my job but am looking at the road ahead of me and that is confusing. I have been to various info. sessions, have talked to professionals in the fields that interest me but still can't make my mind as to whether I should stay in my field or look for better opportunities elsewhere. I am one of those silly people who believe that all of our dreams can be changed into realities !!

Will appreciate any inputs and am willing to pay a qualified career counsellor for services rendered.
