work permit query

i was a student of international buisness.
i then got the p.g work permit
i have applied PR.but in the NOC code of the job i have put the code 4163 which relates to ma occupation.
ma lawyer told me to confirm if that is my noc.
how do i find my noc?
is it assigned by the government cos another person told me it shud be in ma CAIPS of the work permit.
What if i have wriiten down the wrong noc?will they refuse ma case>?
am really worried here. abt this.
moreover i am worried that i dont get a C level NOC COde..cos for immigration O,A,B level is required!
how do i find the accurate code..please help!

If you had a lawyer at the time you applied for PR, it is lawyer's responsibility to confirm the NOC code for you.... What are you paying him for ??
There is a huge list of NOC codes on cic.gc.ca ....
And what is "CAIPS of my work permit"... there is NO CAIPS for work permit...
And what was your job title... What were your job duties ??
As long as your job is in O,A or B catagory... I don't think they will refuse your application...

well,,
the job title was advertising and marketing consultant..
that comes under various categories like 1122,4163.
i want to make sure that there is no C level category for it
BY Caips of my work permit i mean to say ,when i got the overall CAips ,.the caips page which contained my work permit info.The lawyer was also not sure,cos the same title comes under dfferent NOC codes and responsibilites are almost the same,,
