Hey guys,
I am looking for agencies/companies/individuals, that r willing to sponsor "Post Graduate Work Permit" for international students.
Finding an employer who's willing to sponsor a work permit is becoming a nightmare, everyone asks whether I am authorized to work in Canada or not, I have had 2 job offers pulled away from me because of that, so I figured if I can pay & get someone to sponsor my work permit, then it shouldn't be a prob to find another job and get a work permit transfer.
All my friends in the US do the same, they pay someone to get an H1 visa & then find another job and then apply for H1 transfer. I am hoping that the same might be happening in Canada as well.
All inputs r welcome.
Cheers

there is nothing like work permit transfer, you have to apply for a new wp once again,in US also its a new H1, h1 transfer is a misnomer, though it is more streamlined in US, employers are hesitant to sponsor wp here in canada, I believe it should soon catch up
Ok how about this: Aren't there any recruiters who would apply for my work permit and then contract me off to other companies. So I end up working for other companies who pay the recruiter who in turn pays me. This way if one assignment is finished I can look for another assignment, all the while being on my recruiter's work permit.
This system is ever so popular in the US; is it existent here ?

Paying someone to get a H1 is illegal, although in the US, this abuse exists like a flea within the IT industry.
Getting hired by a contract firm (not exacty a recruiter) who in turn posts the employee to client firms is perfectly legal since the H1 is sponsored and paid by the contract firm.
Why is this not popular in Canada (if that is true)? Maybe because there are so many permanent residents already here looking for good opportunities, that an employer need not go through the trouble of applying for the work permit, although there are probably many who do.

Well then, now that you understand my quest, would you care to highlight the entities that do that ?
