Hi Mr. Massood,
I am an international student doing my MBA in Canada. Me and one of my friends (Canadian citizen) wants to start up a partnership company engaged in export and import business.
I understand I am not allowed to work without the work permit, but can I form and become a partner in a company while on a student visa?
Also, after the completion of my degree can my company sponsor my work permit?
Thanks
You can run your own company.
It will be difficult to convince immigration or HRSDC that the job offer by your company to you is genuine because you are part owner of the company.
