Few of my friends are doing NONI/GOGI juice business. It is a network marketing kind of thing. (Like Amway/quickstar). However, they are saying if you deposit 5000 CAD with them they give return of 6% per month.
No body can give such type of return. To me, it looks like a fraud ( like chit fund companies in India). Any body with some expericence with these type of companies. I require this information so that I can guide my friends not to invest in these type of schemes. Right now, they are just looking for the Return part.

Can you tell us more about this juice business. I have never heard of this brand of juices. Are this run by Nigerians?
Does it require us to do any selling / soliciting or do we just have to give the money and the company will use our money to sell juice products and give the profit as an interest to us.
6% return a month sounds too good to be trus.

No, they are not run by Nigerians. It is US based companies. In Mississauga/Brampton all Desis are involved in this bussiness. I could find following link for NONI , similarly you can find for GOGi. They say this juice is from Himalayas . As per my friend, you do not have to do any marketing, only you will get money ( Intrest) & 4 bottles of juice which you can sell to other. Or if somebody purchse juice directly from Company giving your reference, you get some commission.

Looks like the "Teak wood" Scheme of India. They may be betting on the huge market potential of USA.
People investing in this should keep in mind that it is so easy for companies to declare Bankrupcies and move on.

They promise that Gogi juice will cure almost each and every disease and seems to be hyped up.
At 6% return a month, it could be like ponzi scheme (interest being paid from new members contributions) and they would probably not return the principal.
